About Us
Gibson's Cabinet Makers in Whitby, offer you quality handmade kitchens. We are an expanding business manufacturing furniture and our main intent is to bring top quality craftsmanship into every household at competitive prices.
Situated on the southern fringe of Whitby, in Whitby Business Park, we serve a wide area with clients from as far away as Durham, Cheshire, Lincolnshire as well as in Teeside and all of Yorkshire.
What we are today
Our recent move to Whitby Business park not only allowed us to invest in more appropriate machinery but also enabled us to work on more than one project at a time. Today we are continually working on four or more major commissions at once and have doubled our work force at a time when many established companies are cutting back.
Clients are encouraged to see their project mature from the design stage, timber arriving seeing the machining process and the finishing of their furniture before delivery.
With all this activity life is never dull at our Enterprise Way premises.
Roy has worked all his life in the woodworking industry and did his degree course in Furniture Design and Manufacture at Chilterns University, High Wycombe. His father, David retrained in cabinet making taking the HND in Furniture Production. Working together is proving to be exciting and rewarding especially with the ardent support from wife and mother Elaine.
